Charity endurance challenge

CELEBRITIES Ronan Keating and Gaby Roslin are backing Marks & Spencer (M&S) fundraisers all the way to the finish line, as the retailer takes on its biggest charity endurance challenge to date.

With the aim of raising over £1 million, Ronan and Gaby are supporting M&S employees as they gear up for a unique fundraising event.

On Saturday June 30, 600 M&S employees, including two from the Buxton store, will take part in the ‘Bike 400 Cycle Challenge’ at the Prodrive Race Track in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.

The ‘Le Mans’-inspired, 24-hour event will see employees competing in teams of four, with each cyclist peddling for six hours and covering 100 miles.

Each lap will raise crucial funds in support of Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Action Cancer and the Marie Keating Foundation.
