Celebrating 50 years in business, family-owned Horderns has added the fast-growing Great Wall franchise to its portfolio.

And its arrival is the latest exciting development for the Chapel-en-le-Frith-based motor dealership.

The largest manufacturer of SUV models in China, Great Wall produces the rugged, no-nonsense Steed Pick-Up.

Nigel Coley, from Horderns Great Wall, said: “We’re experiencing exciting times here. We opened the doors to our Great Wall franchise on October 26 and the response from people around the area has been astounding.

“At a time when so many pick-up manufacturers are softening their products by fitting sumptuous carpets, it’s great to be able to offer customers a good, honest workhorse that’s easy to clean inside.”

He added: “It’s not only popular with farmers but people from all walks of life.

“The generously-equipped Steed range is attracting considerable interest thanks to its combination of robustness, practicality and unrivalled value.”

Horderns Great Wall is located on Market Street.
