A Buxton-based computer firm which prides itself on solving the problems of the future has been looking back by celebrating two long service awards.
IT systems developer Multisys Computers Ltd marked 20 successful years in business by rewarding the loyalty and achievements of second-in-command, Philip Holmes, who has worked for Multisys for ten years, and Chris Riley, who has been with the company for five.
“Philip and Chris have played, and continue to play, a key role in the day-to-day running and development of the business,” said Director Jim Keable, who heads an eight-strong team at Multisys’s headquarters at its Byron Street Works.
“Both do an excellent job and exemplify the can-do, customer focused ethos that we have established over the past two decades. We’re very proud of the fact that our clients have come to see us as their friendly, approachable external IT department.
“Over the years we’ve built close working relationships with many long-standing customers, and are always on hand to solve a challenge or head off a crisis – saving them valuable time and money, and freeing them to concentrate on their core business.”
Since Jim launched the company in 1991, Multisys has built up an impressive portfolio of clients in the commercial stationery and engineering sectors, across the UK and Ireland.
“Most of our customers are small businesses, who rely on us as a one-stop shop for all their IT needs, from developing efficient back office and e-commerce systems to offering responsive and effective follow-up support for their servers, PCs and networks,” he added.
“We get a lot of satisfaction from knowing that we help them overcome their day-to-day IT problems to enable them to adapt, change and succeed in a fast-moving, ever-changing commercial environment.
“Over the next 20 years, our mission will be to continue to develop cutting edge technology that meets the constantly evolving needs of a wide range of businesses, both locally and across the country.”
