Chatsworth House has been presented with a prestigious Highly Commended Hudson’s Heritage Industry Award for Best Art Collection/Gallery.

The inaugural awards, launched by Hudson’s Heritage Group (HHG), are designed to honour achievement and success in the UK leisure heritage industry. They were presented during a celebratory luncheon at the Marriott Grosvenor Square earlier this month, with celebrity hosts, Loyd Grossman and Lucinda Lambton.

The awards recognise excellence in the heritage leisure industry across 13 categories from restoration and wedding venues through to hidden gems and best gardens.

Overall the panel selected 13 winners and 12 venues were also given Highly Commended awards over a range of categories.

“The quality of the entries was incredibly high,” said Ed Beale, from Hudson’s Heritage. “Chatsworth House demonstrated creativity, commitment and enthusiasm and we’re delighted to help them celebrate their great success.”
