680 new jobs start
OVER 680 new jobs have been created in Derbyshire during the past year with the help of an organisation which provides advice and support to firms through the Business Link Start-up Service.
During the last financial year, Derbyshire Enterprise Agency (DEA) helped almost 500 new businesses – a significant achievement in the current economic climate according to DEA Chairman John Foxcroft.
"We've established a range of access points across from Swadlincote to Bakewell, Buxton, and Glossop and we will continue to ensure would–be entrepreneurs get the best possible advice," he added.
A wholly owned subsidiary of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce, DEA has more than 25 years' experience of helping new businesses to succeed.
