STERNDALE Moor’s village bonfire is back – and set to go off with a bang.
After a three-year absence, a bonfire will be held behind Sterndale Moor Club on Friday November 4.
The bonfire will be lit from around 6.45pm, with fireworks being let off from 7.15pm.
Organiser Colin Grindey said: “The bonfire is back by popular demand and it is something the whole community can celebrate together.”
Hot food, including hot dogs and burgers, will be on sale, and the club bar will be open.
Admission is free, although a bucket collection and raffle will be held to raise funds for next year’s event.
