PLACES are still available for two Derbyshire charity walks taking place next month.
The Chatsworth Challenge and the Peak District Walk will raise money for the work of the Red Cross in Derbyshire and further afield.
Taking place on September 9, money raised by the Chatsworth Challenge will go towards the Derbyshire defib appeal, which aims to buy six new defibrillators for the area’s community first responder and event first aid teams.
On September 23, the Peak District Walk, a 12-mile walk starting and finishing in Edale, will take place to raise money for the work Red Cross carries out in the area.
Participants will receive a fund-raising pack, expert advice and support and a certificate on completion of the events.
More information on the walks is available from www.redcross.org.uk/chatsworthchallenge and www.redcross.org.uk/peakdistrictwalk or by contacting local Red Cross fund-raiser Alex Gadsby on 0115 852 8016 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
