Appeal to trace driver after A53 crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcylist received serious injuries in a collision on the A53 road.

The accident happened near to Flash and the 20-year-old biker was airlifted to the Royal Stoke University Hospital, although his injuries are not life threatening.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, which happened at around 4.30pm on Saturday July 4, and in particular the driver of a grey or black Mazda travelling along the road at the same time.
