Appeal after spate of thefts from cars in Buxton

BUXTON police are reminding motorists to be security conscious after a number of thefts from cars in the area.

The latest happened sometime between 11.20pm on Thursday, April 19 and midnight, Friday April 20 when two suitcases were stolen from a Renault Espace parked at the Cattle Market car park, Market Street, Buxton.

Since April 1 there have been eight reports of vehicles which have been broken into in the Buxton area and items such as sat navs, sunglasses, mobile phones and electrical equipment have been stolen.
