Plans for 23 apartments on land in Whaley Bridge have been submitted to High Peak Borough Council.

The outline application is for a site at Hogs Yard on Buxton Road and will be decided by members of the council’s Development Control Committee at a future meeting.

A planning statement submitted as part of the application said: “This application seeks outline planning permission for the construction of two apartment blocks with associated works to include car parking on land to the south of the access road leading to the Tesco store. Block A would be positioned to the north of the site and adjacent to the main access into the site. It would accommodate 13 two-bedroom apartments. Block B would be positioned to the south of the site and would accommodate ten two-bedroom apartments.”

The apartment blocks would be part two-storey and part three-storey and there would also be parking for 46 vehicles.
