Air ambulance call-out

THE Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance were called to Batham Gate on Saturday after a 24-year-old woman was head butted by a horse.

The woman, from Derby, sustained a serious neck injury and was in severe pain.

She was treated by a land crew before being airlifted to the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield and their Spinal Care facilities for further treatment. For more information or to donate please log onto www.dlraa.co.uk
