Burglars smashed the window of a Grade II listed chemist in Buxton and stole aftershaves and perfumes.

Clowes and Son Chemist, on Cavendish Circus, was targeted by thieves sometime between 1am and 8am on Sunday, December 11.

A Derbyshire Police spokesman said: “A large rock was used to smash the window and numerous aftershaves and perfumes were taken from the display.”

This follows a similar incident at the chemist on Monday November 28 when perfumes were stolen in the same way.
Officers are appealing to anyone with information, or who may have recently been offered bottles of perfumes for sale, to get in touch.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Andy Crosthwaite on 101, quoting occurrence number 16000409232.
