THE Mayor's Charity Central Area Committee, which aims to raise money for the central area of the High Peak, which includes Chapel-en-le Frith, Dove Holes, Furness Vale, Hayfield, New Mills and Whaley Bridge, is holding a Quiz Night on Friday, October 17.
Tickets cost £4.50 per head for teams of four; a light supper is included, and tickets are available from Goyt Wines and Fernmoss Pet Supplies in Whaley Bridge, Oddbins in New Mills and Jacqui or Mark Gadd on 01663 746130.

Mayor Cllr Robin Baldry is the quizmaster.
