Man, 34, dies in paragliding tragedy

A 34-YEAR-OLD man has died after his paraglider crashed in the Peak District.
The man, from Sheffield, crashed below Bretton Edge, near Great Hucklow, on Friday afternoon.

Despite the efforts of rescuers on site, including paramedics and members of Buxton and Edale Mountain Rescue Teams, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Buxton Mountain Rescue Team spokesman said: "Team members wish to offer their sincere condolences to his family and friends."
