DERBYSHIRE County Council is offering free child car seat checks for local parents at Morrisons, Buxton on May 20.
A child car seat fitting expert will be available to check all types of car seats and provide advice from 10am to 4pm. Members of the Road Safety Team will also be available to provide road safety advice and guidance.

DCC's cabinet member for community safety, Councillor Clive Moesby, said: "It's vitally important that children are safely secured whilst travelling in a car. It can sometimes be difficult to know if your child is in the right seat, so come and see the experts and make sure your child is safe."

For more information on child car safety seats and the law ring Call Derbyshire on 08 456 058 058 or visit Derbyshire County Council's website at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/roadsafety.
