THE VILLAGE of Flash is to celebrate its annual Rose Queen festivities on Saturday starting at 1.30pm.
Starting at the church the procession will finish at the Village Hall where they will be stalls, tombola and refreshments.

There will also be a photograph competition on a local theme the locality, with entries open to three age categories: under sevens, 7 to 14, and adults. To enter simply take along at 6 x 4 photograph and submit it on the day.

The 2008 Rose Queen is Jo Collins with Hattie Beal and Xenia Balderstone Rosebuds and Andrew Ambrose Pageboy.
