A NEW self-help and support group for people affected by cancer is holding its second meeting next week.
The group is open to anyone with any type of cancer, or anyone affected by the disease, and was set up by Alison Morton, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in June last year.

The next meeting will take place on May 14, at Buxton Library from 6pm. Paul Kerr, a representative from Macmillan Cancer Support will be present on the night and refreshments will also be available.

Members of the group can take advantage of eight computers to help research cancer and find out where to get help, or they can just sit and chat with other members over a cup of tea.

Transport to the meeting is available and can be arranged by contacting Alison on 07814 006 827.
