Biker is killed

CHESHIRE police are appealing for information after a motorcyclist died following a crash on the A54 Buxton to Congleton road on Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened at Wildboarclough, near to Blaze Farm, when a Honda motorcycle collided with a barrier.

As a result of the collision a 47-year-old motorcyclist from the West Midlands suffered serious head injuries. He later died at Macclesfield District General Hospital.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Road Policing Specialist Investigation Unit on 01244 613641.
