A Buxton pub held a day of fundraising in honour of one of its former patrons.
Staff at the 19th Hole in Fairfield organised a ‘Sunday for Eileen Charity Day’, raising £1,750 for Blythe House Hospice in memory of Eileen Horax, who passed away recently.
Landlord Scott Wanless said: “We raised the funds by running an auction and raffle, with all the prizes donated by local businesses.
“We are all very proud to support such a worthwhile local charity.”
