One World, many people
REDUCE, reuse, recycle was the theme for this year's One World Festival in New Mills.
Rain didn't dampen the spirits of the festival-goers who enjoyed dancing in the marquee to live music, including White Van Man with Emmerdale's Tony Audenshaw, the Ziggeratz and High Peak Samba.
Children enjoyed numerous activities, including face painting and story telling.
Many people took advantage of the energy efficient products available and the festival's new cotton reusable bag was very popular.
The aim of producing the bag is that New Mills will become a plastic bag free town and residents are being encouraged to take reusable bags with them when shopping.
New Mills is showing that it is becoming a leader in eco-friendly areas, being a Fair Trade town and the home of the country's first community hydro-electric scheme.
