Hydro safety concerns

SAFETY concerns raised by members of the public over the new hydro electric scheme in New Mills have prompted additional work at the site.
Temporary safety fencing has been erected in the Torrs while discussions are ongoing for a permanent solution.

All parties are working with Health and Safety officials to address the issues raised.

The hydro electric scheme is operational and generating power.
