"It was quite emotional seeing all the people who came along, giving their money to this wonderful cause."

A large choice of attractions took place including penalty shoot-outs with all four Millers keepers actively involved, a bouncy castle for the youngsters, body waxing, face painting, various stalls and a raffle.
Later in the afternoon Club Chairman Ray Coverley presided over an auction for a varying array of items including cuddly toys and this raised quite a considerable amount to boost the already large amount of money donated (yours truly ended up with a 4 foot long white tiger).
Local band The Lynk performed in the marquee during the day with a brilliant double set consisting of Rock and favourites from yesteryear.
Then came the highlight of the afternoon when Tracy placed herself in the hands of local hair stylist Paul Bowers to have her head shaved. Not to be outdone quite a number of those present decided to help Paul and for £1 per person they attacked Tracy's hair.
While this was being done Sam who had been doing the body waxing said that if she could get another £100 donated she would have her head shaved as well. Within two minutes £125 was in the tub and so Paul started all over again.
Tracy's target off £2000 pounds looks as though it has been surpassed with sponsorship still waiting to be collected.
Tracy and family would like to thank everyone sincerely who attended and sponsored her. God bless you all.
