The 39th Annual General Meeting of the Buxton Civic Association, a registered charity, will be held on Monday June 16 at 7pm. For the very first time it will be held in the new Visitor Centre at Poole's Cavern on Green Lane.
A full report on the latest trading position, following the successful opening of the Centre, and the installation of the Go Ape treetop adventure course, will be given.

The early evening meeting time has been arranged to allow members time to tour all the new facilities. These include the revitalised and re-designed exhibition by Palaeocreations, the new educational provision for school parties and others in the former shop, the expanded café, gift shop, the small children's play area and the Monkey House.

There will also be the opportunity to walk along the Go Ape course.

There will be refreshments and a toast to the new Centre, together with time for questions and discussion, following the meeting.
