IF YOU love musicals, you won’t want to miss The Pajama Game - and tickets are still available!
The romantic comedy, directed by Rod Goddard, burst onto the New Mills Art Theatre stage for its opening night on Tuesday.
And among the stars of the show was the fabulous 12-piece orchestra conducted by Dave Chapman, producing that American musical sound at its best.
The story follows workers in the Sleep Tite pajama factory in Iowa, USA, where Babe Williams makes the mistake of falling in love with her boss, Sid Sorokin, during union negotiations for a much needed pay rise of 7½ cents an hour!
Tickets are still available for The Pajama Game, which runs at the Jodrell Street theatre until Saturday, at 7.15pm each evening. There is also a Saturday matinee at 2.15pm.

Priced £10 (£8 concessions for Thursday show and Saturday matinee), the tickets are available by calling 01663 742951. Discounts are also available on group bookings.
