Fordante

CRITICALLY acclaimed film composer Phil Mountford will be performing a world premiere of his new works ‘The Requiem’ with his ensemble Fordante this weekend.

The five-piece Midlands-based group will enchant audiences with popular film music such as Schindler’s List, Gabriel’s Oboe (The Mission), Pirates of the Caribbean and Love Actually, along with their own worldly, inspired, rhythmical, beautiful, exciting and melodic music.

Two-hour concerts will take place at Buxton United Reformed Church on Saturday July 16, at 3.30pm and 8pm.

Tickets, priced £9.50 (children £5), are available on 0845 1272190.
