Sunday concert

BURBAGE BRASS band is giving a concert to commemorate Remembrance Sunday this weekend.

The concert at Buxton Methodist Church on Sunday starts at 7.30pm.

Last year's event was organised by well respected local preacher Robert Davies, one of the prime movers in the fundraising for the new band building, with this year's concert being in tribute to him.

Tickets cost 5, including refreshments, and there will be red roses for sale in memory of a loved one, supporting East Cheshire Hospice.
