Mixed Media artist Ingrid Karlsson-Kemp has revealed her exclusive design for the front cover of this year’s Buxton Festival brochure.

‘A magic night at the opera’, was unveiled at the Friends of Buxton Festival’s AGM at the Lee Wood Hotel.

Ingrid said: “I was delighted and honoured when the organisers initially approached me.

“My aim was to capture the magic of a Festival evening at Buxton’s Opera House - which I think I have achieved.”

A member of the Peak District Artisans group, Ingrid has also been selected as an Olympic ambassador to champion Derbyshire in the run-up to the games.

Buxton Festival runs from July 7-25. The brochure will be available from April.
