Charity concerts
CHAPEL-EN-LE-FRITH Ladies Choir are looking forward to welcoming Alex Williams with the High Peak Wind Band to their final concert of the 2008/2009 season, this Saturday.
The group is part of the Peak District Centres which provide high quality ensemble experience for young people in the area.
The concert, which will be held at Buxton Methodist Church at 7.30pm, promises a varied programme with something for everyone.
Tickets are priced 7 (6 concessions) and are available from the Hall's Mica Hardware shop in Chapel, or from any choir member.
The choir is always delighted to welcome new members.
Rehearsals are held in Chapel Town Hall on Mondays at 8pm. The first rehearsal for the new season will be on September 7.
