A stroll through town's past
A CHANCE to find out more about writer, feminist and pacifist Vera Brittain, best remembered as author of the best-selling 1933 memoir Testament of Youth, has been organised by Friends of the Peak District.
To find out more about her life, join Jennie Ainsworth on a gentle stroll through the town on Saturday July 4 at 2pm.
Jennie has a large collection of photographs and other memorabilia, which give further insight into life in Edwardian Buxton.
