A step too far for the Daleks

THE STEPS of Buxton Opera House proved to be the downfall for one of the universe's most unstoppable villains this week.

A Dalek was dispatched to investigate one of the Opera House’s latest shows - award-winning one-man comedy ‘Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf’.

Luckily, the Time Lord’s arch enemy was unable to negotiate the Opera House steps and exterminate Box Office staff, so tickets for Saturday’s performance remain on sale.

‘Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf’ stars respected actor and writer Toby Hadoke, who takes audiences on a hilarious and often poignant odyssey - his life mirroring the ups and downs of his favourite television programme’s 44-year life.

‘Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf’ is on Saturday at 7.30pm. Tickets, priced 10, are available from the Box Office on 0845 127 2190, or visit www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk.
