Award winning Strangeface theatre company to perform in Tideswell

AN award winning mask theatre company is to perform an extraordinary show in Tideswell next week.

In The Amazing Adventures of Pinocchio the Strangeface Theatre Company bring an astonishing mix of masks, puppets live music and song to this tale of wild mischief and temptation.

More Roald Dahl than Disney, the play takes the audience on Pinocchio’s fantastical journey from a piece of wood to a living boy.

Set in 1930s Sicily, in turns thrilling and heart-warming, moving and comical, the audience also get a chance to try on the masks, work a puppet, or look at the effects backstage.

This is a show that appeals to both adults, children and families. See strangeface.co.uk for more information.

The performance takes place on November 28, at 7pm, at The School Hall, Bishop Pursglove School, St Johns Road, Tideswell.

Tickets £8 and £6(concessions) from theatre@tideswell.net, Tideswell Post Office, Litton Shop and 01298 871063.
