At an afternoon teas event held at Cornerstones, Cockyard, Chapel-en-le-Frith, on Sunday, August 26, the sum of £601.05 was raised for the benefit of the Muriel Turner Palliative Care Trust Fund.
Funds raised at this event will be used to help provide additional services for terminally-ill people wishing to remain in their home environment.

Thanks are due to all those who attended on the day and to all the workers who helped make the event such a success.
