MANY thanks to New Mills Golf Club for allowing the Mayor's Charity (Central Area) to hold their Golf Day on Friday 19th September which proved a huge success.
The hospitality at the club was second to none and was supported by their President, Captain and Lady Captain. Thanks also to the Steward and Stewardess, the ladies who serve drinks on the 10th tee and to all those who sponsored tees, prizes and entered teams.
Thanks also to Mrs J Gadd and her committee for organizing the day.
The competition was a morning event with 17 teams taking part and raised a magnificent sum of £1,200.
