Thank you to everyone who braved the weather and gave generously in the recent collections during our fun ride from Chapel-en-le-Frith to Buxton on 19th July.
With your support and donations to our local volunteer collectors, with me in my pirate scooter-ship, a total of £240.45 was raised; this money will support the needs of those diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and their carers in the High Peak and East Cheshire area. The MS Society (www.mssociety.org.uk) supports everyone whose life is touched by MS, and it relies on donations to fund respite care, specialist MS nurses and around 50 vital MS research projects in the UK.

More information is available from local support contact Annette D'Acuña on 01625 430933, from the freephone helpline on 0808 800 8000 or by email to me on chris-22@hotmail.co.uk. Promotor: Christine Mellor, local support team, on behalf of the Macclesfield and District Multiple Sclerosis Society (reg. charity 207495).
