I FELT a bit ashamed to see the fine flag of St George streaming bravely in the wind and sun last Wednesday, flying above the sad travesty that Buxton's Marketplace is still becoming.
Yes! - and now available with extra new kerbs and added railings! Trees removed for free! If you want to make your market place awkward and unfriendly to pedestrians and traffic alike, apply to Buxton's town planners.

This boulder-strewn mountaintop, this car park with a bus-blocked through lane... those feet in ancient time did not have to negotiate the dangers we face when shopping at what's left of the Market.
