You're so right Jake. I couldn't believe the 'Yes' campaigners who are still convinced that they are right and we are wrong. These people, as you say, need to understand that other people count and that their views always count.
Another one springs to mind with our out-touch-politicians - the No vote in Ireland over the Lisbon Treaty. They're getting them to vote again! Utterly ludicrous.
Yes, the smoking ban was another big one. Only 33% wanted a total ban as we have now, and 67% were against it. Look what happened - the 33% got their way because they included the politicians and heavily-funded anti-smoking lobbies, the only ones who appeared to be listened to as everyone else was ignored.
The people of this country don't stand a chance and lost their freedoms a long time ago.
