TONY and Twizzle will be thrilling an audience at Buxton Opera House next Monday.
LipService Theatre will be presenting a world premiere of Tony & Twizzle, The Glory Years – a riotous look at the cult of celebrity.

It is written by Maggie Fox and Sue Ryding and directed by Mark Chatterton and designed by Michael Holt.

The audience will be invited to spend an evening in the company of Anthony Chalmers -Tony and Isobel Trilling - Twizzle in a 'warts and all' look back at their fabulous showbiz careers.

These red carpet favourites spill the beans on their fascinating lives.

Tony talks candidly about their remarkable comeback after winning Celebrity Wheelie Bins, how Twiz drove him to drink, his time in rehab and the road to spiritual enlightenment.

Twiz was famously sacked by Sir Loin Andrew Webber after her voice cracked during the Royal Variety performance, made and then lost a fortune when the bottom fell out of her underwear business and famously invented facial gymnastics.

A dazzling showbiz couple their fabulous career spans four decades.

Tony and Twizzle re-enact scenes from their famous films, stage appearances, and TV triumphs, notably Whistle Down your Blouse, Wednesday Night and Thursday Morning and cult '80's shoulder padded soap set in the deep south of USA, Mine a Million.

Tony and Twizzle will have you flashing back through their '70s and '80's TV and film careers quicker than you can say, 'give us a twirl'…they've done it all, even a number one love song.

These two are no strangers to the tabloid press but will they talk frankly about what really happened to priceless three times Crufts champion Winona the cocker spaniel bitch?
