HIGH Peak Dharma Group is thrilled to welcome back the Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche for a public talk in Whaley Bridge on Thursday July 3.
The Venerable Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche is the colourful and charismatic Abbot of Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery and Tibetan centre based in the Scottish Borders, Director of the internationally acclaimed Holy Island Project and the much loved and respected retreat and meditation master for a host of students from around the world.

He is also a much loved and respected teacher whose wisdom, compassion, warmth and humour reveal him as a living example of the Buddha’s teaching.

The talk at Whaley Bridge Mechanic’s Institute, Market Street, at 8pm, entitled ‘Tools to Find Joy in Everyday Life’, will be a chance to meet a Tibetan Buddhist Lama and Rinpoche - who was born in Tibet, from which he escaped in the 1960s when China invaded.

A suggested ticket donation of £10 will be payable on the door.

There will be refreshments and an opportunity to ask questions and purchase books written by him.

He will also give a talk on ‘Vows and Refuge’ on the Thursday afternoon followed by a Refuge ceremony. Call Heather on 01663 734 643 for more details.
