Launching the New Mills Festival is 'The Event', a community fun day on Saturday September 13 at Newtown Recreation Ground.
From 1pm to 5.30pm, there will be inflatable laser quest, human table football tournament, graffiti wall art, inflatable disco dome, workshops, a car boot sale, bouncy castle, stalls, refreshments and much more.

Then, between 5.30pm and 8.30pm, there will be the 'We've Got More Talent' X-factor style competition, with first prize of a day's recording in a professional studio.

This activity-packed community day has something for everyone.

Admission is free, although individual activities will make a charge.

This event is part of the New Mills Festival, and the Hope08 initiative.

Sponsoring 'The Event' is Revival Church, New Mills.

As part of the New Mills Festival, Revival Church has partnered with other local groups to provide a free, fun, and brilliant event for the community.
