SPA TOWN Country Music Club presents an evening of pure nostalgia on Saturday September 6 with an appearance by two of the most critically acclaimed musical tribute acts to the legends of popular music in the Jerry Lee Lewis and Billy Fury Tribute shows.
They will be performing together on stage at the Pavilion Gardens’ Paxton Suite for one night only, when fans can either listen or dance the night away to the timeless songs of these two great rock ‘n’ roll legends.

Gary Slade, performing as Billy Fury, sings superbly and has an uncanny resemblance to the great British singer and songwriter.

You will hear all his classics including Halfway to Paradise, Jealousy, I’ll Never Find Another You, Once Upon a Dream, Its Only Make Believe and Last Night Was Made For Love.

Steve Wicketts has been performing his tribute to Jerry Lee Lewis for several years in theatres and clubs, receiving rave reviews nationwide.

Steve’s tribute to the wild man of rock ‘n’ roll comes from the heart, and includes classic songs such as Great Balls of Fire, Whole Lotta Shakin’ Going On and Breathless.

Making a very special guest appearance is Liverpool’s Paul Thompson, a teacher by day and rock ‘n’ roller in the evenings. He has thrilled past audiences with his great voice, guitar skills and choice of song material.

The evening will be supporting Breast Cancer Research at the Bobby Moor Unit at Stepping Hill Hospital.

Early ticket purchase is advised from Goddard’s Music Shop, High Street; Mycock’s Butchers, Market Place; Wilton’s off-licence, London Road; and the Pavilion Gardens.
