EVER wondered what Buxton Festival Fringe is all about?
Well, find out on Sunday July 13 – and it won't cost you a penny.
Just follow the music and the orange Fringe balloons to Buxton's Pavilion Gardens for a free fun packed afternoon of Fringe tasters – 17 days of Fringe in 150 minutes.

Most of the action takes place around The Bandstand – starting at 2pm, with curtain down at 4.30pm – but you are could find people busking all round the Gardens.

So, pack up a picnic and bring the family along to soak up the atmosphere and flavour of Buxton's biggest ever Fringe, with 120 shows on offer over the next couple of weeks.

Acts lined up so far include:

* Tideswell Male Voice Choir.

* RLT present One Big Blow - The Brass Band – with no instruments!

* Stand-up comedian Tam Hinton.

* Belly Dance Flames & Spiltmilk Dance.

* Comedian - Matthew Collins s Free At Waitrose.

* Music – from three countries including Glossop based Czech folk group Katus.


There's also face painting for the young.
