According to the Camping and Caravanning Club, one in eight Brits are choosing to holiday in the UK this year, while research from The Caravan Club has shown a 10 per cent rise in pitch bookings since 2007.

Vehicle manufacturers are reporting a similar increase in sales enquiries and caravanning's leading share of the 'paid for' UK holiday market is expected to grow from the current 19 per cent this year.
