Good part for 'baddie' Nolan
BUXTON Opera House has turned Fairy Godmother to make a wish come true for a singing star...
Denise Nolan, one of the famous Nolan sisters and one of pantoland's biggest stars, is set to play the Fairy Godmother in this year's production of Cinderella at the Buxton Opera House.
Denise has been appearing in pantomimes up and down the country for 28 years and last appeared in Buxton in panto 19 years ago with "It Ain't Half Hot Mum" star Melvyn Hayes.
After years of being cast as 'baddies like the Wicked Queen in pantos, Denise can't wait to play the Fairy Godmother.
"I'm looking forward to hearing cheers again and wearing a pretty dress," she said.
