JB Priestley's classic comedy "When We Are Married" is to be performed by Chapel-en-le-Frith Players on May 9, 10, 16 and 17.
Set in 1908 at Alderman Helliwell's house in Cleckelwyke, a town in the West Riding of Yorkshire, the play features three couples meeting to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversaries.

But during the evening the new organist at the town's chapel drops a bombshell – and the evening becomes very lively!

The play was last produced by Chapel Players in 1993, and three of the present cast were in that production.

Members of the 2008 cast are Dan Mason, Jill Gubbins, Jean Mowl, Harry Goddard, Simon Irwin, Ian Farley, Helena Jodrill, Ian Leach, Ian Stubbs, Rebecca Perkins, Angela Buttrill, Chris Mason, Deborah Barnes and Caroline Gilberthorpe.

The play, at The Playhouse, is produced and directed by David Mowl.
