BURBAGE Band will join Chapel-en-le-Frith Ladies Choir for a concert at Buxton Methodist Church on Saturday May 17 at 7.30pm.
The Ladies Choir is back rehearsing following a very successful concert with Derbyshire Constabulary Male Voice Choir in March, and new members are always welcome.

They meet each Monday evening at 8pm at the Town Hall in Chapel-en-le-Frith. Lucy Crew is their tireless Musical Director, abetted by Jane Simmons as accompanist.

Burbage Band, whose history dates back to1861, will be under the Musical Directorship of Steve Critchlow.

Tickets for the concert, priced £7 and £6 concessions, are available from choir members, or from Hall's Mica Hardware in Chapel-en-le-Frith on 01298 812260.
