Police hunt armed robbery suspects

A PUB in Hayfield was robbed by four men armed with hammers and pool cues, in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The landlord of the Pack Horse was awoken by four men who burst into his bedroom and demanded money from the safe.

The offenders, in their mid to late teens, had broken in through a first floor window at the Market Street premises

The four, who had mancunian accents, were all dressed in black track suits, with hooded tops. They had scarves across their faces.

They fled the scene with an undisclosed quantity of cash at 3.15am.
