On Bank Holiday May 4, High Peak Ladies played in the Manchester and District Bell Cup Tournament against Stand at High Peak. It was an excellent result and 6-1 ensured a place in the next round. The EWGA 6 to be played was won by C Scowen 73, G Morris 74.

On May 6 80 pairs entered the seniors open. Result: 1st D McGowan & M Gardiner 43; 2nd K Tunnicliffe & A Hooper 42 pts, 3rd Mr Steadman and Mr Clarkson 42; 4th R Hart @ H Mitchell 41.

On Sunday May 24, members are welcomed to come and play at the Wentworth Pairs competition. Gents and ladies - pairs stableford- any combination/ four ball betterball at £5 per person; entry free.

Juniors at High Peak took pride in playing in a Past Junior Captains Competition the Brad Peel Memorial.
With a full field on a bright Spring day Thomas Guess lifted the trophy over 18 holes, 2 C Vize. 14 holes 1st M Bailey, 2nd R Flint; 10 holes. 1st J Norton 2nd H Naden.
