THE weather was appalling but New Mills Golf Club's Golf Charity Day went ahead.
Golfers were competing for the Alan (Mick) Jones memorial Trophy.

Frank Bullough and Norman Heald organised the event and prizes were donated by club members and local business people.

The proceeds from this year's event are being donated to Ashgate Hospice, Chesterfield, which is used by New Mills residents and Blythe House.
