I have used High Peak Kennels for many years now, and have never had any problems. My dog pulls me to the door!! and im always annoyed when i go to collect him because hes not even bothered about me, he seems to want to stay there!!
I have used their grooming service too so my dog has always come out neat, tidy and clean. (defo worth the extra pennies)
Im sure its not easy looking after that many dogs all at the same time, we all know one or two can be hard enough!! The staff are always polite and really seem to enjoy their jobs. Its great to know my dog is walked twice a day. I will always use High Peak Kennels and recommend it to friends.

I have used the services of High Peak Kennels for 5 years and with terrific results - healthy happy dog who never had a problem. Wonderful service, wonderfil staff who pay greatest of care and attention. I hope the people with complaints raised them in person rather than an faceless slur on here.

I have visited these kennels many many times and always found them to be clean. tidy and the staff well trained. My dog is a severe epileptic and stress can cause fits (which could kill him) the staff looked after him as they would one of their own and kept all his personal belongings with him plus items with my smells on him to keep him calm and comfotable as possible. he came home very happy very healthy and no fits occured. staff regularly monitored him and maintained his medication. I would happily leave my precious pooch with them again and know i can relax as he is in safe hands.

I was not happy with the state my dogs came out after 10 days, one of the dogs had faeces all over his face and wounds on his front legs and the other dog that I sent in with a comfort blanket which I doubt even if my dog was given it because, when I came to collect the dogs I had to ask for the blanket back, which he got out of a box and it was't even my dogs blanket, and they seemed verry stressed after their stay, MY DOGS WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!!

I dont usually have anything to do with reviews of such but after reading the above review i felt compelled too.
My dog has been going to these kennels for years and he absolutely loves it ! every time i arrive he drags me through the door and refuses to leave when i come to collect him.
The Staff are brilliant true dog lovers and very caring and friendly , I love the fact that my dog gets walked twice a day and not just left in the kennels all day ! this is something no other kennels do in the area.
As for the Vaccinations certificate not being asked for, I have to point out that they have all my dogs details on the computer system and as has happened to me before when I have made a booking they have told me to bring the vaccinations certificate with me as my dogs vaccinations would of expired prior to my booking.
As for my dog not being clean when leaving the kennels this has never been a problem ! maybe the other reviewers dog is just dirty in kennels ?? my old dog was filthy in kennels so I used to use the grooming facility's at the kennels prior to collecting her.

My dog came out after 7 days smelly, dirty and soaking on his underside from what turned out to be urine.
I was in such a rush to get going as I was late that I didn't notice the wetness until later, but it was disgusting.
This is not the first time I've been concerned about the state of the hound after coming out, but this was the worst...unhygeinic and unhealthy if nothing else.
They rarely ask for vaccination certificates either...avoid at all costs.
