So you think the snow in 2009 was bad?

RECENT snowfall has encouraged many people to glance back at their photograph albums to get a bit of perspective about what constitutes heavy snowfall.

Buxton reader Paul Heathcote produced these two photographs for publication.

It is of his grandfather Joe Heathcote working at the Beswick Lime Works in the 1950's, Paul thinks it may have been in 1957.

On both photographs Joe is pictured snow clearing, working alongside Les Bradd.
